05:58
[Eric] Awesome, Awesome. [Eric] Awesome. I mean the question to follow that up is [Eric] when you think of NCT DREAM, what is NCT DREAM's [Eric] signature sound? [Eric] When MARK was introducing NCT DREAM, [Eric] it sounded like you guys are positive, energetic, [Eric] a very bright energy. [Eric] In terms of the style of your music, does NCT DREAM have [Eric] have a specific sound or style you use? [MARK] CHENLE? [CHENLE] Kind of, young, [CHENLE] refreshing, [CHENLE] Yeah refreshing. [Eric] Refreshing, yeah. [Eric] Alright, alright, ok. So young, bright, happy [Eric] all that kind of stuff. [Eric] Okay then, if you don't mind, can you guys give us [Eric] a short acapella version of your new title song? [MARK] Hello Future? [Eric] Can we get a little [Eric] taste? Yeah just a little bit [NCT DREAM] Because I met you, we shine brighter Lets build only with beautiful times
07:05
[Eric] Alright [MARK] 제가 제일 좋아하는 부분이에요 [Eric] Thank you. [Eric] I hope you guys get to triple million. [Eric] Hope you reach it. [Eric] First of all, I want to talk to you guys [Eric] and get to know you better. [Eric] Honestly, we talk to get a deeper understanding of each [Eric] guests on the Daebak Show. Stuff you guys haven't [Eric] talked about on other platforms. [MARK] Sounds good. [CHENLE] Yes.
08:27
[Eric] Without pressure. Let's start a conversation like that. [Eric] So I wanted to get to know you guys through today's [Eric] conversations. [Eric] So I'm excited to get to know you guys. [Eric] RENJUN, CHENLE, MARK, JISUNG, you guys all started [Eric] and debuted at a very young age. [Eric] So I was curious of all your backstory. [Eric] How did you guys start music? How did you audition? [Eric] Become a team? [Eric] You must've had a lot of emotions and experiences [Eric] along the journey. I did some research [Eric] and I want to dive deeper for the fans and people [Eric] who might not know who you guys are. [MARK] 네 맞아요 [Eric] RENJUN, YES. [Eric] Thank god. [Eric] Alright, so lets start there. [Eric] You're from Jilin. You came from Jilin right? [RENJUN] Yeah that's right. [Eric] I see that you've learned ballet
09:38
[RENJUN] Yeah learned it when I was a trainee. [Eric] How did you come to Korea? [Eric] Did you audition? Or were you scouted? [RENJUN] I started when I took a global audition. [RENJUN] I enjoyed listening to K-POP as a child [RENJUN] Rain, Wonder Girl's Nobody was my favorite. [RENJUN] So that's when I learned about K-POP. [RENJUN] and I was interested ever since. [RENJUN] I watched a TV show called K-POP Star [RENJUN] and there were 3 labels, SM, YG, JYP [RENJUN] So I thought these companies were amazing. [RENJUN] I was indecisive on the companies as they changed often [RENJUN] But then, after seeing EXO, I decided I wanted to get [RENJUN] into SM so I applied for the global audition. {RENJUN] The timing was really hard to match but I was lucky, [RENJUN] it was very lucky that I got in.
10:44
[Eric] Oh my gosh, how old were you back then? [RENJUN] I was 15 years old. [Eric] So you took the audition at 15, came to Korea, [Eric] were your parents supportive or not? [RENJUN] They didn't believe me at first. [RENJUN] like, 'You're going to audition?' [RENJUN] The location of the audition was far from where [RENJUN] I lived so my parents didn't know if they wanted to [RENJUN] send me. I was going to school at that time as well. [RENJUN] But I was determined so it didn't matter whether [RENJUN] my parents sent me or not. I was going to go myself. [RENJUN] I was determined. [RENJUN] So they sent me but I was very lucky because [RENJUN] There were like tens of thousands of people auditioning [RENJUN] I was lucky enough to be picked, thankfully, [RENJUN] I didn't have to disappoint my parents [RENJUN] after my bold determination.
11:49
[Eric] I think that's amazing. It shows that you were so brave [Eric] and determined at a very young age. [Eric] I was watching CHENLE and RENJUN's videos but how are you [Eric] so good at Korean? [CHENLE] Thank you. [Eric] You're so good. [Eric] You learnt Korean when you got here right? [CHENLE] RENJUN started ever since he was young. [RENJUN] Yeah when I was younger, I went to a school [RENJUN] that taught Korean. [RENJUN] Yeah, there were a lot of people around me that spoke [RENJUN] korean. And CHENLE learned and improved a lot here [Eric] Oh my gosh, I was so jealous of you [Eric] I think I have lots to learn from the two of you. [CHENLE] No, no, no [Eric] You guys are too good [Eric] RENJUN from Jilin, China when you first came to [Eric] Korea, so you got accepted, you got accepted in [Eric] the audition, and you came to Korea. How did it feel [Eric] when you first arrived?
13:01
[RENJUN] I honestly don't remember much after my audition, [RENJUN] but there was someone with a panel at the airport [RENJUN] and I thought that was so cool and [RENJUN] the class was on another level. [RENJUN] I had butterflies and everything was so new to me. [RENJUN] I was really overwhelmed [Eric] Alrighty, alrighty. [Eric] When you arrived, you must've spent your years as a [Eric] trainee. How was that? [Eric] Was it like you imagined? [RENJUN] I thought it would've been more competitive and stuff [RENJUN] but I became closer with the other guys that came [RENJUN] and they took good care of me but, [RENJUN] The first person I met, as a trainee was MARK and [RENJUN] another NCT member named TAEYONG. [RENJUN] I was shocked of how good looking they were.
14:06
[Eric] Shocked? [RENJUN] It's because the SM building made me dizzy [RENJUN] There was a basement, rooftop, practice room here and there. [RENJUN] If I went there, everyone was good-looking [RENJUN] I kept getting shocked and dizzy when I met him. [CHENLE] I'm joking, you're good looking. [Eric] Okay [Eric] RENJUN, thank you for the story. I can imagine now [Eric] how it must've been. You came here at a young age, got [Eric] shocked after meeting Taehong and MARK, practiced, [Eric] then debuted. Now CHENLE I saw you were relating to [Eric] RENJUN's story. [CHENLE] Oh no, way different.
15:10
[RENJUN] Our situation was so different. [CHENLE] The story is completely different. [Eric] While you were preparing, yeah, so I watched [Eric] CHENLE's video's since he was younger. [CHENLE] Oh my god, [Eric] Yup I watched them. [Eric] Saw you on China's Got Talent, saw you perform as a [Eric] child. [CHENLE] Yeah. [Eric] I see here that you released a song as a child. [CHENLE] That's right. [Eric] It seems like your parents supported you a lot. [CHENLE] Yup, yup [CHENLE] I always loved music as a child and performed [CHENLE] on stage often. My parents really wanted me [CHENLE] to have a lot of experiences so they were very [CHENLE] supportive of me. [Eric] Was it always your DREAM to become a singer/entertainer?
16:14
[CHENLE] I'd say I just loved performing [CHENLE] but studying was a priority for me and [CHENLE] performing was a hobby. [CHENLE] It was like that when I was young. [Eric] Was there a singer or a performer or entertainer that [Eric] was your role model or inspired you? [CHENLE] I really love David Foster. Do you know him? [Eric] Oh yeah [CHENLE] It was a David Foster [CHENLE] concert that I watched that made me fall in love with [CHENLE] his music. He's super talented. [CHENLE] I admired him after watching the concert. [Eric] Yeah he wrote most of all the DIVA's songs [CHENLE] Yeah that's right.
17:22
[CHENLE] His music is so good and he's just good at everything [Eric] I watched your video and thought - how are you so good at singing [Eric] at that age? [Eric] Like, your pitch was on point, you even play the piano, [Eric] you're really talented. [Eric] So CHENLE, you said that your upbringing story into NCT [Eric] SM was different from RENJUN, [Eric] Can you tell us what was different? [CHENLE] When I was in China, I didn't know much about K-POP or [CHENLE] SM. [Eric] Oh you didn't know, [CHENLE] Yeah. [CHENLE] I didn't know at all. SM contacted my mom but she [CHENLE] didn't know as well. She told me she got a message [CHENLE] and I asked who it was but I was more into studying so [CHENLE] I was about to decline the offer. [Eric] You were about to decline SM?? [CHENLE] Yeah I almost really did.
18:28
[Eric] Ok, ok, ok. [CHENLE] But then my dad [CHENLE] knew who SM was and how big they were. [CHENLE] and he knew a bit about K-POP. So my dad was the one that [CHENLE] convinced me and my mom that this was a good chance [CHENLE] and that I wouldn't regret going. So he said to try [CHENLE] So my dad was the one that made the decision. [Eric] Wow, this is all thanks to your dad then. [Eric] Dad, thank you so much. [CHENLE] Yeah I would've denied if it wasn't for my dad. [Eric] Oh my gosh [Eric] So your dad recommend you, you came to Korea, [Eric] took your audition, got accepted, and then, [Eric] after 2 months, 3 months, you debuted. [Eric] You probably wouldn't have thought that [Eric] you'd debut so quickly. [Eric] It must've been pretty shocking. How was it for you? [Eric] The procedure. [CHENLE] We were like, 'already?' [CHENLE] I didn't think that I was ready enough
19:36
[CHENLE] I still thought I needed to learn a lot but [CHENLE] this soon? It was like that. [Eric] Ok, ok. Got it. [Eric] So we heard your backstory, moving on is MARK [Eric] Is English ok? English? Korean? [MARK] 네네 [Eric] Alright let's do English. [Eric] Korean's so hard for me. Ok here we go. [Eric] So Mr. MARK Lee, you are from Canada [MARK] 네 [MARK] 오디션을 처음 했을때가 8학년이었어요 한국에 처음 들어올땐 고1쯤에 왔고요 [MARK] 한 학기를 끝내고 이제 들어오라 해서 고1 첫학기를 끝내고 한국으로 왔죠
21:01
[Eric] Yeah, well I didn't know you then. I don't think we've [Eric] ever said hi or anything but, [Eric] It was, you guys received I think an award for [Eric] Best Rookie or something like that.
23:34
[Eric] And I was at the back in the break room, just like [Eric] hanging, and I don't even know, somebody starts [Eric] speaking in English. 'Who's speaking in English?' [Eric] And then you started saying your thing. But what [Eric] stuck out to me, and I always wanted to tell this to [Eric] you when I met you, or whenever we connected, is [Eric] you went out of your way to talk about your faith. [Eric] And to say- to thank God. [MARK] 네 맞아요 [Eric] and to me, I was, [Eric] I was so moved by that [MARK] 아 네 [Eric] because that is a big [Eric] testament to I think values and whatever it is that [Eric] you believe in. Whatever religion it is. And so for me, [Eric] I was like, 'Oh man, that guy, probably has a lot of [Eric] thoughts, and probably has a really big future. [Eric] and so, [MARK] 현재 같이 있었으면 하이파이브 엄청 했을텐데...
[Eric] Wait, of course! [Eric] I just remembered me like, 'Oh wow' like, [Eric] Cause I wasn't even watching the TV [Eric] the monitor at the back but I just remembered [Eric] you saying like, 'Thank you God for blah blah blah' [Eric] and I was like, 'Oh wow, like, he's thinking about stuff.' [Eric] like beyond music and entertainment and all that kind [Eric] of stuff. So I thought that was really cool. But, [Eric] you get to Korea, you are freshman, and then you, [Eric] quickly, how long did it take you to debut? [Eric] But you've debuted, and, you've had so many debuts I [Eric] feel like. If that makes sense.
25:47
[Eric] A lot of debuts and one question I always wanted to ask [Eric] you is, how do you remember the moves and the [Eric] lyrics and all that stuff [MARK] 솔직히 말씀해드리고 싶은데 춤을 평소에 안추는 사람이면 엄청난거라고 할 수도 있는데 솔직히 말하면 [MARK] 저희한텐 너무 자연스럽게 나와요 노래마다 뻔한 안무가 있고 몸이 이미 기억을 해서 [MARK] 아무리 안무가 많다해도 항상 저절로 기억하게 되는거 같아요 [MARK] 그냥....
26:52
[Eric] Okay not that much of a big deal [MARK] 절대로 자랑하려고 하는게 아니에요 [Eric] It's just cause you're good. It means you're good. [Eric] which is fine. [Eric] So, let me ask you this. About how many songs and [Eric] and choreographs do you think you know personally? [MARK] 50? [CHENLE] Nah [JISUNG] I think thats right [MARK] 한... 50개 정도 되는거 같아요 [CHENLE] 30. 30 he doesn't know 50. [CHENLE] If you even combine concerts, its like, 40. [Eric] Yeah a rough estimation like a 192, it's all good
27:59
[Eric] You know, whatever. [Eric] Okay, okay. [Eric] No big deal, no big deal. [Eric] I guess last question for you right now is [MARK] 네 [Eric] I was talking about a NCT song on a very early [Eric] episode of this podcast, and on one of them, I spoke [Eric] about you and I was like, 'Man, MARK is a full [Eric] package, he can do everything.' [Eric] And that went like crazy viral on the internet. [Eric] I don't know if you've saw this but it was [MARK] 네 봤어요 [Eric] You saw it. [Eric] All of y'all are so talented but I think [Eric] at the time, I was talking about a specific song [Eric] that you have been on. And um, [Eric] so the question that we wanted to ask you is, [Eric] is there anything else that you'd like to master? [Eric] Like that you'd absolutely like to try?
[Eric] Ok, who did you listen to growing up? [Eric] What kind of music growing up? [Eric] He's amazing. [Eric] I haven't seen him live but that's like my one wish to [Eric] to see Bruno Mars live. [MARK] 'When I was your man'곡을 만들었을때 [Eric] Oh yeah [MARK] 그때 가장 좋아했어요 [Eric] Bruno fan-ship, yeah [MARK] 지금도 좋아하는데 2015년부터 저스틴 비버가 너무 와 닿더라고요
30:27
[Eric] Alrighty, alrighty. Bieber and Bruno. Got it. [Eric] Okay, so we're going to move on to JISUNG. [Eric] JISUNG, JISUNG Park. [JISUNG] Yes. [Eric] You waited too long. [JISUNG] Oh yeah, MARK talks a bit too much. [MARK] Ah sorry, [JISUNG] Just kidding. [Eric] You're doing well right? You've been waiting patiently [Eric] for like 30 minutes [JISUNG] Honestly, listening to the other members talk, [JISUNG] there's a lot of new things I found out about them. [JISUNG] It was fun. [Eric] What did you learn about your members? [JISUNG] First, I didn't really understand MARK, [MARK] Cute! [JISUNG] I knew the big picture behind RENJUN and CHENLE, [JISUNG] but it was my first getting to know their specifics [JISUNG] Yeah it was interesting. [Eric] Okay, alright alright. Now we're going to dive deeper [Eric] into JISUNG, [Eric] First, nickname. Your nickname GAN JISUNG [Eric] is what I heard.
33:22
[Eric] Was this a name you gave yourself? [JISUNG] Well, at first during training, I was pretty young [JISUNG] and I grew up getting a lot of attention. [JISUNG] People always said I was cute but I honestly wanted [JISUNG] to be seen as cool. [JISUNG] So I always acted cool and the other guys called me [JISUNG] that in a cute way. [JISUNG] The word Gan Ji ends with my first letter of my name [JISUNG] and they combined it to be GAN JISUNG [CHENLE] Never heard that before. [Eric] I think it fits you. [Eric] So JISUNG is the youngest in the group right? [JISUNG] Yeah [Eric] Were you able to handle it? [Eric] There's so many people older than you, of course they'd [Eric] treat you well, [Eric] I still don't think it would've been easy to be the [Eric] the youngest out of that amazing group. [JISUNG] Honestly, compared to other groups,
34:27
[JISUNG] NCT DREAM didn't really have that thing. [JISUNG] There weren't any older/younger thing. We spent [JISUNG] time just like friends. [JISUNG] The older guys just treated me like their friend. [JISUNG] There weren't any of that, however, [JISUNG] NCT as a whole, there were times I felt a bit down. [JISUNG] There were a lot. [MARK] You're lying. [Eric] You're lying? [Eric] Elders, how do you feel of what he said? [MARK] We always said like the youngest on top. [JISUNG] I agree. [Eric] You agree, okay. Now JISUNG [Eric] I see that you were in acting and the Popping [Eric] Hyunjoon Kids Crew [Eric] Did you naturally audition because you liked to
35:36
[Eric] dance? Or was there another reason? [JISUNG] As child, I really had no confidence in myself. [JISUNG] But my kindergarten teacher recommended me to dance [JISUNG] I never really danced before so [JISUNG] I took lessons for fun. [JISUNG] But as time went on, I began to fall in love with dance [JISUNG] so I began to learn professionally. [JISUNG] In grade 5, there was a TV show called 'Dancing 9' [Eric] Right, right. [JISUNG] I went to the tryouts but the SM manager contacted me [JISUNG] But honestly, I knew all the groups from SM but I [JISUNG] didn't know who SM was at that age. [JISUNG] So I wasn't going to go but my mom convinced me to try. [JISUNG] I really didn't want to but after watching others [JISUNG] perform at concerts, it started to become my dream.
36:41
[JISUNG] And that led me here to this day. [Eric] I think you need to thank your parents as well. [Eric] CHENLE to your dad and JISUNG to your mom. [Eric] So you went into SM but you didn't think of becoming an [Eric] idol or a singer right? [JISUNG] Yeah I was only interested in dancing. [Eric] Then i'm guessing that you took many lessons and was [Eric] exposed to music as a trainee. [Eric] Was there a point where you actually decided this was [Eric] the path that you wanted to take? [JISUNG] When I first went in, I always freestyle when it was [JISUNG] grading time. [JISUNG] I really didn't think much of this as a job. [JISUNG] But after watching the concerts of TVXQ, Shinee, Exo,
37:46
[JISUNG] Super Junior, I swear it's not cause i'm under SM, [JISUNG] I really dreamed with the energy of the fans at shows. [Eric] I see, it says that you write novels. [JISUNG] This is honestly, [MARK] You're right. [JISUNG] 3 or 4 years ago, I was in the same room as CHENLE [JISUNG] I wrote something as a joke that was meant to be funny [JISUNG] and showed him, but he kept going around telling people [JISUNG] and people think that I'm an author but that was the [JISUNG] only one I wrote. [JISUNG] So yeah. [Eric] Understood, I hope we get to see more novels in the future [Eric] So we talked a bit about JISUNG, now I want to ask a
38:59
[Eric] question to the 4 of you. [Eric] You guys were all minors when you debuted, [CHENLE] Oh yeah [Eric] and young. [Eric] 2 questions. Do you guys ever look back at your old videos? [CHENLE] I only had one situation. [CHENLE] Since I was young back then, [CHENLE] and because I just need to work to live, [CHENLE] I always had late-night snacks, and the next morning I'd [CHENLE] always puff up. [CHENLE] So when people tell me that I looked chubby, [CHENLE] I'd ask why, and they'd show me old videos of me [CHENLE] That was the only time I saw my younger stage. [Eric] What about the rest of you? [JISUNG] I look back when it suddenly think of it.
40:07
[JISUNG] Kind of to look back on memories and the vibes back then [JISUNG] but it's too embarrassing because I was young [JISUNG] so I don't often go back to it. [CHENLE] Yeah people always tell me that I was cute but [MARK] Yeah I think you cringe more yourself. [CHENLE] I can't stand it even though people think I was cute [Eric] It's the same for me. Whenever I watch my debut videos [Eric] I just throw my phone away. [Eric] Why did I wear this? Why did I sing like this? [Eric] We often think like that. [Eric] I feel like you've come across many things as you [Eric] debuted at a such a young age, [Eric] What has changed after becoming an adult? [Eric] As a group or individually? [CHENLE] Both as a group and individually. [RENJUN] Since we were young, our parents trusted the company
41:18
[RENJUN] to take care of us but there's a lot more to do as [RENJUN] minors for the company. So receiving the care, [RENJUN] I realized that they took care of us in many [RENJUN] different ways. [RENJUN] But after being an adult, I started to take my own [RENJUN] responsibilities and do things on my own. [RENJUN] I think that was the biggest change [Eric] There's a lot of groups when we think of NCT, [Eric] Have you guys ever thought of another NCT group [Eric] or NCT concept between you guys? [MARK] Something different? [Eric] Completely different. [Eric] Yeah your own NCT unit. You can call it whatever you [Eric] want. You could pick whoever you want. Who and what [Eric] would it be? [JISUNG] I thought of putting people with J's in their name
42:23
[CHENLE] NCT-J? [JISUNG] Yeah NCT-J [CHENLE] JISUNG, JAEMIN, JENO, JAEHYUN, [MARK] JUNGWOO [CHENLE] JUNGWOO, [MARK] and etc, oh RENJUN [JISUNG] There's a lot oh RENJUN [CHENLE] RENJUN, XIAOJUN [MARK] JOHNNY, [Eric] J J J J J J J J J J [Eric] A crazy J group [MARK] 7 제이들 [CHENLE] 8 J's [Eric] Wow, anyone else? Or anything like a different genre? [Eric] MARK you said acoustic earlier [MARK] Yeah [Eric] What do you guys want to try? [RENJUN] So there's a variety of ages in our group right [RENJUN] and it looks like there's a lot of 2000's [RENJUN] So I thought it'd be fun for the 2000's try something [Eric] Okay, like the dragon years [MARK] Right, dragons are the 2000's [RENJUN] 2000's are dragons.
43:32
[RENJUN] Anyways, stuff like that. [CHENLE] That sounds pretty good [CHENLE] Us three maybe? [JISUNG] No no don't [Eric] You guys prepared something? [CHENLE] Nothing prepared but we have a separate team. [CHENLE] Big head 1, 2, 3 [Eric] The 3 Big heads. Ok, not bad, not bad. [Eric] We'll expect more different groups in the future. [Eric] Um, alright so. Those are kind of the questions that I [Eric] have from myself. [Eric] I have a bunch of questions from your fans.
44:38
[Eric] Your fans sent in a lot of questions. [Eric] So we'll go into those questions. [Eric] There's actually some crazy questions here for example [Eric] From Lelita Kawaii, If you had your own country [Eric] what weird rule would you make? [Eric] If you guys had your own country, what would be a weird [Eric] rule you would make? [Eric] Are you very tidy? Are you very like clean?
45:44
[Eric] Or is it an environmental thing? [Eric] Okay, alright. I can abide with that rule. [Eric] I will abide by that rule. [Eric] Anyone else? [RENJUN] I want everyone to live in one big tree. [Eric] Everyone? Like a treehouse. [RENJUN] I think it'd be fun. [CHENLE] Cute! [MARK] Cute! [RENJUN] Or wearing the old and classy clothes from before. [RENJUN] Everyone would wear this on a day. [MARK] 드레스 코드 [Eric] Yeah dress code. [RENJUN] Or anything fun like that.
46:47
[Eric] Okay something fun. RENJUN's country will be fun. [Eric] CHENLE [CHENLE] I actually never had [CHENLE] of anything like that before. [CHENLE] I feel like my country would be a disaster if I ran it [MARK] True. [Eric] Okay, do you have something JISUNG? [JISUNG] I think I'd take care of the people around me first [JISUNG] I feel like I'd be very restrictive. [Eric] Restricting? [JISUNG] Yeah kind of like [JISUNG] I'd prevent anyone from doing anything bad [Eric] Very systematic. Okay, alright alright. The thought is [Eric] good. The thought is great. [Eric] Alright, this is a question from ForyouRENJUN, [Eric] Question for RENJUN, who has a beautiful mind and voice, [Eric] is there any particular habit or jinx regarding [Eric] vocal techniques that you do before stage or recording?
47:53
[Eric] Yeah, RENJUN you have a bright mind and voice, [Eric] before you go on stage or before you record, [Eric] do you have a habit or jinx? [RENJUN] I drink a lot of water before recording. [RENJUN] At least 2L, not at once, but consistently. [RENJUN] It naturally helps your voice to relax. [RENJUN] And I think it's about the mindset. [RENJUN] I think confidence is key when you record or perform. [RENJUN] If you're not confident, the results are [RENJUN] always disappointing. [RENJUN] It doesn't feel like mine. [RENJUN] In order to not regret, I ignore everything and tell [RENJUN] myself that I'm the best. [Eric] Ok, thanks for the great tip, the great response. [Eric] Yeah, great tip. [Eric] Next one is from Aldross1996
48:58
[Eric] CHENLE loves movies and OSTs [Eric] What is your favorite OST [Eric] they say you love movies and OST [Eric] What's your favorite OST? [CHENLE] I like the background music more than the OST. [Eric] Oh BGM. [CHENLE] Yeah BGM. [CHENLE] I really love the song 'Time' from the movie Inception. [Eric] Okay, my brain hurts whenever I watch Inception [CHENLE] It's super fun. [Eric] How many times have you watched it? [CHENLE] Like 3 times? [CHENLE] If I like a movie, I rewatch it a lot. [CHENLE] Many times because [CHENLE] I always find something new or feel something different [CHENLE] every time I rewatch it. [Eric] Alright, there's another question for CHENLE, [Eric] from NGU1030, how did it feel when you got a reply from
50:03
[Eric] Steph Curry? [Eric] How was it when you got the reply? [CHENLE] It's probably the same feeling when a fan gets a reply [CHENLE] from a idol they really love. [CHENLE] Like OMG, I was at the salon [CHENLE] I was so surprised I showed all the members at the [CHENLE] salon. [Eric] Yeah that's something to brag about. [CHENLE] It really is. I'm a huge fan [CHENLE] and the fact that he saw me was so cool. [CHENLE] And also to reply was very cool. [Eric] Incredible [CHENLE] Yeah, wow. [Eric] Did you DM Steph you again after that?
51:10
[CHENLE] After that, MARK and I got invited to watch the [CHENLE] Golden State Warriors game online. [Eric] Ah ok, alright. That's cool. [CHENLE] We were on the screen like those TV shows [CHENLE] MARK and I were on there. [Eric] Ah, Okay. [CHENLE] They sent us a letter too with our names, to MARK, to [CHENLE] CHENLE, [MARK] 꼭 실제 경기에서 뵜으면 좋겠다고 편지를 썼어요 [Eric] CHENLE your face is about to rip just talking about this [CHENLE] Yeah I'm kind of happy. [Eric] Okay, well I hope you end up going and enjoying the game.
52:16
[Eric] Alright for JISUNG, this is from MARKisung, [Eric] So you have 6 older guys, who is really older and [Eric] who is the baby one? [Eric] The one who acts the oldest, and the one that doesn't [Eric] seem like one? If you had to choose. [CHENLE] I feel like all 6 doesn't act that way. [JISUNG] No joke, there's times all 6 doesn't feel older, [JISUNG] sometimes they seem older, but [JISUNG] on an average, [MARK] On average [JISUNG] I'd have to say, [JISUNG] JENO? JENO and MARK. [CHENLE] Acts the oldest? [JISUNG] the youngest. [CHENLE] Oh JENO? He acts the youngest? [CHENLE] JENO and MARK acts younger than you? [CHENLE] That's unexpected. [RENJUN] You never told us that. [MARK] Imagine if he heard this. [JISUNG] There were lots of times he seemed younger. [CHENLE] Oh really, JENO? I can undestand MARK [RENJUN] JENO can be like that.
53:32
[Eric] In what way did you think he seemed younger? [JISUNG] Well, everyone knows MARK but JENO, [JISUNG] he gets upset often. [JISUNG] Way too often. [CHENLE] That's true [JISUNG] He gets upset over this? Like this? [CHENLE] MARK is always a baby, MARK is my son. [Eric] MARK is your son. [Eric] Okay JISUNG, I'll make sure to let him know in the next [Eric] interview. [CHENLE] Yes please. [Eric] What about the oldest? [JISUNG] The one that acts the oldest has to be HAECHAN and [JISUNG] RENJUN? [JISUNG] HAECHAN and RENJUN? Those two really disciplined me, [JISUNG] and they tried to teach me lots of things. [Eric] What did you get in trouble for? [JISUNG] Since they look at me cute, I tend to fool around with [JISUNG] them, but they tell me when I cross the line.
54:44
[Eric] Ah okay okay, that's acceptable. [Eric] Alright, last fan question for MARK, [MARK] 네 [Eric] This is from Cessisa13 [Eric] What type of book would you like to write in the future? [Eric] Have you ever said you would want to write a book?
[Eric] Wow we just got real deep real quick. Edward Allan Poe? [Eric] Alrighty alrighty, I got that. [Eric] Last question for you from GDAO, I feel like [Eric] for a lot of people from abroad, we get this question a [Eric] lot. What is it that you miss most about Canada? Home?
58:11
[Eric] Tim Hortons? Of course I know what Tim Hortons is. [Eric] Super healthy, very good food, [MARK] 너무 달아서 몸엔 안좋은거 같은데... [Eric] It's so sweet. [Eric] They don't have Dunkin Donuts in Canada? [Eric] Alright, fair, fair, fair, ok. [Eric] Thank you for those answers. Alright, so we have [Eric] 2 quick things I want to do. Lastly, I want to do 2 [Eric] things. [CHENLE] Cool. [Eric] When I was researching, I found the 7 of you guys made [Eric] a friendship ring. [MARK] 네네 [CHENLE] Only the two of us probably wore it. [Eric] What happened? [CHENLE] They lost it, [Eric] Is it JISUNG and MARK? You guys lost yours? [JISUNG] Yeah [MARK] 잃어버렸어요
59:18
[MARK] 다시 찾을껀데? [RENJUN] When? [Eric] Ok, ok. [RENJUN] It's been almost a month since you lost yours? [JISUNG] I'll buy it right away. [Eric] Okay, well you guys are very very close, close enough [Eric] to have friendship rings, so, we wanted to test how [Eric] in sync you guys are. [Eric] The 7 of you are very close, even made rings for [Eric] each other, so I wanted to try this. [Eric] If I give you a word, sort of like a telepathy game, [Eric] you make a gesture. [CHENLE] I don't think we'll match. [JISUNG] Oh no, [Eric] Let's find out. So, can we try out a couple words? [JISUNG] Yup. [Eric] Ok, ok. So if I give you a word, create a gesture or pose [Eric] related to the word. [Eric] Alright, I'm going to give you guys a word, [Eric] you guys all make a gesture or a position to
01:00:20
[Eric] represent the word. Let's see if you guys can all get it. [Eric] I'll start off easy, very easy. 819 00:58:59,480 --> 00:59:02,400 [Eric] Alright, the first one is heart. [Eric] The word is heart. [Eric] On the count of three, make a heart. [Eric] Alrighty? 1, 2, 3 [RENJUN] This guy's crazy. [CHENLE] What's that?? [CHENLE] Hey I match with JISUNG. [JISUNG] It's Ok [CHENLE] We got it the same. [JISUNG] What'd you do? [CHENLE] This [MARK] I was going to do that [RENJUN] Same. [CHENLE] What do you mean [MARK] 같은 생각이였어요 [CHENLE] It's LATE, too late. [Eric] But you didn't do it. [Eric] Honestly, I can understand RENJUN, CHENLE, and [Eric] JISUNG's. This is Ok. What is this though? [Eric] Alright, alright Ok, so next one is, hot sauce. [Eric] 1, 2, 3, [MARK] This is kind of serious. [JISUNG] It really is. [RENJUN] Like, drip.. [CHENLE] As you can see, we don't match. [CHENLE] Yeah we don't [MARK] I think it's right that
01:01:41
[MARK] we don't. [CHENLE] Yeah you're right. [Eric] Yeah it's right that you don't match. [Eric] Everyone has their own character. [CHENLE] Yeah we have our own taste. [Eric] Last one, you guys have a personality right. [Eric] Last one, hello. [Eric] The word is hello. [CHENLE] Okay let's go. Okay no, no, no, no [Eric] 1, 2, 3 [JISUNG] Yesss [Eric] Congratulations! You did it. [JISUNG] Finally. [Eric] Alrighty, alrighty. [MARK] 어려웠다 [Eric] I'm glad you at least got one. [Eric] Alright so, we need to start wrapping up now. [Eric] Thank you for the 4 of you for coming and having fun [Eric] Anything you want to say about your album, anything you [Eric] plug or promote, this is your shot, this is your chance. [Eric] If you have anything to promote to your fans, please do. [Eric] To Steph Curry.
01:03:00
[Eric] It is, it's the Daebak Show. [Eric] Cool ok, thank you. Anything else? If you guys want [Eric] It's ok if you don't. [JISUNG] I don't know if MARK said this already but, [JISUNG] I really want the fans to enjoy this album.

[MARK] I don't have any for CHENLE..
01:05:12
[JISUNG] Can we start? [MARK] Briefly, not too long. [Eric] Yeah, yeah we can go quick quick. It's good. [JISUNG] MARK is the most talented person I've ever met [Eric] Big start. [MARK] That's the scale we're going for? [JISUNG] Yeah, yeah. [RENJUN] Say he's talented. [MARK] CHENLE is one of the most, just kidding. [MARK] CHENLE has become a very comforting person to us. [MARK] I'm always thankful for that [MARK] There's times I think you can be less comfortable. [MARK] He makes us happy, [MARK] I hope we can stay friends moving onto the future. [Eric] Alright alright. [CHENLE] RENJUN is always cute. [CHENLE] He's cute but on a serious note, he takes care of
01:06:26
[CHENLE] of each member sincerely which I'm thankful for [JISUNG] Oh my this is.. [MARK] What is this. [RENJUN] I didn't care MARK. [CHENLE] No but, I think he took care of us behind the scenes. [CHENLE] His sincerity is what I like about him. [MARK] CUTE! [Eric] Cute! [Eric] RENJUN now to JENO [JISUNG] At least he's not here. [RENJUN] First, I think JENO is a very honest person, [RENJUN] in some situations, [RENJUN] So, honestly, it's true. [RENJUN] It may be funny but he has a honest side to him. [RENJUN] Something that we don't have. [RENJUN] I think that's something we can learn, and I [RENJUN] hope he stays like that forever. [CHENLE] Wow we we're so serious about this
01:07:33
[Eric] You guys were very serious [JISUNG] Oh should we do this again? [Eric] Okay, that was good, that was good.
