i've been a bit ill i've still been working the whole week the kids have been off school for a little while but they're back in school now part where my son is a little bit rusty still hopefully he'll feel better soon any moment now i think it was just a cold i guess those things still exist nowadays this weekend i had a lot of fun i learned bolt i've had some requests in the comment quite a few to uh look at bolt and do uh because i did a tutorial on unity not too long ago where i did uh some basic scripting and your very first step into making a game in unity and this time around i've learned now how to do bolt so instead of doing that

wanted to look a little bit as super mario and see if i could capture some of the basic mechanics there so i've tried to make it really responsive like this i want to have him punch up in the air when he jumps and then stretch his arms up when he falls down and really direct controls left to right this instant jumping is pretty instant and direct as well now you still can't do these things with a block so i'm gonna make those uh breakable but let's have a look here now i'll jump up here collect some coins killed some dragons got some fire there

for what you need or you browse through this thing and then you have these basically i say basically a lot so input here and you get a variable called health so that one you subtract the damage amount and then you set the variable health again so that's when you take damage here's a take fire damage we have on particle collision and then it'll just for every single particle that hits you it'll deduct one uh damage amount from your uh health uh you also have these uh little state machines so this is for all the
