In the Gospel of Luke, chapter 15 在路加福音的15章 Verse one to three 第1节到第3节里面 It is about the origin of this parable 就讲了这个比喻的来源 Of course, it was about Jesus speaking to these Pharisees and scribes 当然耶稣是对这些法利赛人跟文士 He was explaining to them 解释告诉他们回应他们 Why He often stayed with sinners 为什么我常跟罪人他们在一起 Why He ate with them 为什么他们一起吃饭 So Jesus said in parables 所以耶稣就用比喻说 So Jesus said in parables 用比喻说 I specifically marked the verse in the parable in red 我特别把这个经文里面的 I specifically marked the verse in the parable in red 用比喻说用红字标明起来 If you have noticed 然后如果你注意到的话 Its English translation is "This parable" 它的英文本的翻译叫做 Actually in the original Greek text 事实上在原本希腊文的文本里面 This word is also singular 这个字也是个单数的字 Although there are three parables 虽然这是三个比喻 But Jesus used this parable 可是耶稣用比喻 The Scripture tells us this parable is singular 经文上面告诉我们这是一个单数 I think a very important implication is 我觉得隐含一个很重要的意义是 These three stories are the same parable 这三个故事是同一个比喻 These three stories are the same parable 是一个比喻三段的故事 What are they talking about? 它分别在谈什么呢 Let me sort this out, the story of the lost sheep 如果我整理一下在迷失的羊

Let's look at how this is described in this Scripture, shall we? 我们来看看这段经文的叙述好吗 Please 来请 Dead and alive, lost and found 死而复活 失而又得的 This is the heart of the Heavenly Father 这是天父的心 This is what the Heavenly Father sees 天父所看见的样式 Let's stop here 我要先停在这个地方 I want to discuss an important concept with everyone 跟大家探讨一个很重要的观念 What is God's sovereignty and what is God's will? 什么是神的主权和神 What is God's sovereignty and what is God's will? 什么是神的心意 These are two different concepts 这是两个不同的观念 We want to be clear about these two concepts 这两个不同的概念 We want to be clear about these two concepts 我们要来看清楚来 Something important in chapter 15 of the Gospel of Luke 路加福音15章很重要的事情 It tells us of God's will 在告诉我们神的心意是什么 About what is God's will 神的心意是什么 The entire Old Testament 整本旧约圣经 Much of it tells us 很大的篇幅在告诉我们 About God's sovereignty 神的主权是什么 That is, God told the Israelites 这是神告诉以色列民 The Jews, the people whom God chose 告诉这些祂所拣选的犹太民族 God said, "I am everlasting" 就是神 我是自有永有的 God is the supreme authority 神是一个至高权柄 He is God, who possesses supreme authority and power 有拥有至高的权柄 He is God, who possesses supreme authority and power 和最至大的能力的一位神

Then, what is meant by God's will? 那神的心意指的是什么 It is God's will and God's thought 是神有旨意和神的想法 God, the Heavenly Father is a separate entity 神是一个 天父有一个单独的位格 This entity that we're talking about is 我们谈一个位格就是 He likes some things, He dislikes some things 祂有喜好的事情 祂有厌恶的事情 The entire Bible tells us 事实上整本圣经都在告诉我们 What God likes and dislikes 神喜悦什么事 神恨恶什么事 One is sovereignty, one is will 一个是主权 一个是心意 We need to be clear about these two concepts 我们弄清楚这两个事情的观念 In the Old Testament 旧约圣经当中 Much of it tells us about sovereignty 许多的篇幅在告诉我们主权这件事 For example, this is described in Psalm 103, verse 19 譬如说在诗篇103篇的19节里面 For example, this is described in Psalm 103, verse 19 它这么形容 The Lord has established His throne in heaven 耶和华在天上立定宝座 His Kingdom rules over all 祂的权柄统管万有 His Kingdom rules over all 祂的权柄统管万有 This Scripture is not in your weekly 这个经文 This Scripture is not in your weekly 并没有列在我们的周报上面 However, it is on the screen 但是在简报上 I am showing it to let everyone see 我特别显示出来让大家看到 There are many such Scriptures in the Old Testament 这个旧约当中有许多这方面的经文 God is mighty, God is glorious 神是权能的 神是荣耀的 God is supreme, God is great 神是至高的 神是伟大的 He has authority, He has sovereignty 祂有权柄 祂有主权 He has sovereignty over this world 对这个世界祂有主权

Let's be clear about this term 我们来弄清楚一个字 The concept of sovereignty 主权这个字的概念 What is sovereignty? 什么叫主权 This world was created by the Word of God 这个世界是按着神的话语 By God's will 神的意念 神的心意去造出来的 He has complete authority over this world 祂对这个世界完全的权柄 Modern people, the people of this generation 我们现代的人 我们这一代的人 We hear a lot about human rights 我们很接触了很多的人权 We have come in contact with democracy 我们接触了很多的民主 We are probably a little bit unclear about this concept of complete sovereignty 我们对完全的主权这件事 We are probably a little bit unclear about this concept of complete sovereignty 已经概念有点模糊了 Let me give an example 我举个例子来说 This slide that you are seeing 你现在所看到的这张简报 That is, this presentation 就是我现在这个简报 This is a very valued worker 我们 这是我的一个很宝贵的同工 Her name is Xin Ping. God possesses this authority 他拥有这样权柄的神 God possesses this identity 拥有这样身份的神 He can rejoice 他能够欢喜快乐 Everyone, this is something extremely great 各位 这是极大的事情 This is something extremely glorious and extremely important 这是极荣耀 This is something extremely glorious and extremely important 跟极重要的一件事情 If we understand God's sovereignty 如果我们了解神的主权 We just talked about this 我们刚才所谈的这一切 We understand His greatness 我们了解祂的伟大 We understand His power 我们了解祂的权能 We understand His authority 我们了解祂的权柄 Perhaps you also have an understanding of how important is His rejoicing 也许你就对祂的欢喜快乐 Perhaps you also have an understanding of how important is His rejoicing 是多么重要的这件事情 Perhaps you also have an understanding of how important is His rejoicing 有一个相对的了解 I hope that I am eloquent enough to express this 我希望我的口才够用 I hope that I am eloquent enough to express this 可以表达这个 This very important concept 这个非常重要的一个概念 An all powerful and mighty God 一个全能伟大的神 A God like this who possesses authority 一个拥有权柄这样的神 His will 祂的心意 Because we repent 会因为我们的悔改 Because His children come home 因为孩子的回家 He feels joy 而感到快乐 So I would like to put it this way 所以我想这样提 The grace in our mind 我们觉得的恩典 What is true grace? 什么是真正的恩典 Grace is knowing how 恩典就是知道 In His heart 一位有无上权柄的神 An all powerful God 在祂的心里 Sees our relationship with Him 祂如何看待我跟祂的关系

He was angry 大儿子很生气 The older son was very uncomfortable when he saw his younger brother 大儿子眼中看这个小儿子 The older son was very uncomfortable when he saw his younger brother 其实是很不舒服 "This prodigal son of yours" 这个人竟然这个浪荡子 "Who squandered your property" 竟然花尽了你的这个家产 "You still treat him well when he came home?" 回到家里你还用这个方式来对待他 So you can see 所以你可以看得出来 This is the contradiction that can easily happen between people 这是人跟人之间 This is the contradiction that can easily happen between people 很容易常常产生的这种矛盾 This contradiction is 这个矛盾指的就是 "I don't like you" 我看你很不顺眼 "You make me uncomfortable" 我看你很不舒服 Or in a more gentle saying 或是换一个比较缓解的话来说 "You are not the type of person I like" 你不是我喜欢的那种类型 Let's see what the Scripture says, shall we? 看看经文上面怎么说的好不好 Let's read this.
