(gentle music) - What's up everybody, it's Enes here. Welcome to another episode. We're back in Corona Del Mar, California, and we're going to tour this newly constructed modern home right behind me. Few weeks ago, we toured the property right next door. And this property is also built by the same developer. And it has incredible amenities, finishes, views, just like the other property. Now specs on this house, we got five bedrooms seven full baths, one half bath, 7,288 square feet of interior space built on a 12,336 square foot lot. And this property is currently on the market for $18 million. As always, we will leave more information about the property down in the description. And before we start our tour, I want to thank the developer Kaz Luxury Homes and the listing agents, Vanessa Bastian and Brian Furstenfeld, for allowing us to tour their amazing listing. Now let's begin. (upbeat music) From the street level we have the driveway taking us up to the two car garage. Driveway is also nicely tiled. And as we look at the outside facade of this home
01:29
we have smooth stucco finish, some wood paneling complemented with corten steel finish. So I really like this material because it gives it a nice industrial warm vibe to the house. Not to mention, if you look closely, Mikey let's get a close up, it has an organic rust to it. So although it looks rusty it actually keeps its core strength but it just gives it a nice rustic look, which is a really cool detail. Also, we have low maintenance landscaping upfront. This is where we have the first glass pivot door opening up to the bridge. That takes us to the entry of the home. Same wood paneling is also used here all the way to this wall to ceiling. And as we take this bridge walkway we have skylights bringing natural light to the lower level of this home, which we'll show to you guys later in the video. And the main pivot door. Now let's go inside. All right, everyone, this massive pivot door opens up to the entry. Now on our left hand side, we have the office. Let's check it out. They have a nice barn door right here and we have the desk set up. Beautiful built-ins on the back.
02:32
Windows are bringing in a lot of natural light. We have the corner glass detail right here and going in since this is one of the bedrooms or counts as one of the bedrooms, we have the full bathroom here, walk-in shower, floating vanity design, beautiful Italian marble, fabricated sink. Now let's go back to the entry. On our left-hand side, we actually have a powder room. Same Italian marble is also used here to fabricate this vanity design. Again, it looks gorgeous and this pendant light is actually concrete. Cool little detail. Now back at the entry, this is where we have the elevator access and following this hallway, we have the spacious laundry room for this level. Some open shelving, some uppers, base cabinets here fabricated sink, washer and dryer, not to mention you even get a skylight in a laundry room, which is really nice. And following this door, it opens up to the two car garage that is on the right-hand side of the home with polished concrete floors.
03:36
Going back to the hallway. Now, this is a really cool detail. We have this massive skylight at the entry of the home bringing a ton of natural light to this level as well as the lower level. And this right here is where we have the staircase going down to the first floor of this home. All glass railing to leave it as open as possible. Now, right behind me, we have the family room, dining area and the kitchen. But before we tour that side of the home, why don't we take this hallway right here? Because this door opens up to the primary bedroom suite. We have European Oak hardwood floors here. Great spacious room, cove ceiling light detail. King-size bed is situated on this side. You guys can probably see it from the exterior but the house has a curvature on this side of the home. So in order to accommodate that we have two fixed windows on each side with casement detail. But this side, where we have the big opening, we actually have cuts in the glass to accommodate the curvature. Overall great room. We have the automatic shades here as well and a door opens up to the patio. Pietra grey marble in a leathered finish
04:38
so you can see all the textures. Here we have the gas fireplace, TV, and following back to the hallway let's go check out the bathroom and the closet. Now, this is where we have the bathroom. We have vanities on each side with a walnut finish, floating design, fabricated countertops. and the same Pietra grey marble is also used as a back wall here with these mirrors, LED lighting right behind it as well. Going this way, water closet is tucked nicely here, but check this out. There's by the way, another water closet on the other side. This beautiful walk-in shower, freestanding tub, same marble is used to pretty much frame the entire shower but it's an open design as well. So we've got a lot of glass, rain head, your shower heads, steam, bench, and from your shower you get to enjoy this amazing view. - [Mikey] What if you're in here and you want a little privacy? - Let's hit it. There you go, problem solved. - [Mikey] Fogging windows. I've seen this in a few hotels before. I always thought it was a really cool feature to have. I've always wondered why more developers don't not only put these in homes, in like bathrooms but also put them as exterior windows.
05:43
I think that'd be really cool for like a house in the Hollywood Hills to get like some added privacy. - I can see the application but my problem is maybe they're not exterior grade. I feel like sun and rain over time might damage it. Maybe that's why. By the way, before you leave, let's pan up to the ceiling. We have a skylight right in the center of the shower as well. Nice touch and going in between the two vanities we go straight into the walk-in closet. Again, very spacious. Every bit of space is really well utilized. We have the hangers, shoe racks, everything is nicely fitted. Overall, a good size closet. Now let's go back and check out the family room. How do you feel about this home Mikey comparing to the other one? This one feels a little bit more warmer, right? - [Mikey] Yeah, something about it. It's almost like more modern, I guess. There's more kind of sharp lines and angles. And I really like it. Both of them are really nice though. - Well, both of them are modern homes, but this one has a lot more pronounced wood tones, earth tones, and kind of textures. I feel like that's why this one feels a little bit more warm
06:48
versus the other one was like more flat, clean, sleek. - [Mikey] Yeah, I guess this one's just like more colorful. It has more like wood tones. - Exactly. Now we have the family room right here. It's a little bit more sunken comparing to the rest of the floor. You have a nice seating area here. Beautiful built-ins on the other side. I know we said this house was a little bit warmer on design but still has a lot of these modern details as well. Just like these built-ins with the LED lighting right behind it. In my opinion, it looks really cool. And of course we have the fireplace here, TV, built-in speakers, beautiful ceiling treatment right above us, and all these accordion doors are opening up to the patio space, which we will tour in a bit. Overall, this side of the home is very open and spacious and going up, this is where we have the dining area. Just like the living room, it's all focused towards these incredible views. And since also this side of the home has the exterior curvature, we have the glass here with the cut ups to accommodate that curve and views are amazing. Newport Harbor, ocean, all the way to Catalina.
07:49
You see everything from here. Also, let's not forget that beautiful chandelier right above the dining area. Now the configuration of this house is kind of similar to the other house, but a little bit different. In this case, we don't have a courtyard on the main floor but we kind of get this side patio here with a barbecue set up. And this is where we have the kitchen. Now this kitchen is simply stunning. The stone cabinetry, fit and finish. The texture on the cabinetry as well. Everything is gorgeous. Let's start with this island design. Mikey, can we get a close up here? This marble looks stunning. Look at all the color. And of course it's book matched as well. This island setup is very sleek. You have the fabricated sink here, pendant lights above and right behind me, we have the built-ins. Steam oven, microwave, espresso maker, just like the other house. Warming drawer. - [Mikey] Gotta have it. - You gotta have it, right? - Beautiful walnut cabinetry is also here and right behind me, let's see. I think this one is a fixed panel, nevermind. - This is where we have the freezer
08:53
and the fridge setup right here, nicely paneled in. And wrapping around the island, let's get a closeup on the cabinetry. All the grains from the bottom drawer to top drawer, they're matching. Details like that I really like. - [Mikey] That can't be easy to make like that. - I bet, I bet. Let's see, there you go. This is where we have the dishwasher. Of course, again, fabricated sink and right behind Mikey we have the 48 inch Miele gas stove, clad vent, and they brought the cabinetry element as a back splash here, complimenting the marble back splash which I think is a really unique design element. And we have two windows down below at the back splash level and two windows as transom windows above bringing natural light in just kind of breaking the overall design of this kitchen, another unique modern touch. Gas stove is here and continuing here we have more pantry space and another surprise. This house actually has three car garage. So we got another separate one right here on the left-hand side of the home from the exterior.
09:56
Wanted to mention that. Overall this is a great space. Living room, kitchen, dining area. They're all connected to each other but what makes this level so special is the patio space. Let's check it out. Let's open up these accordion doors. One on this side, one right here. Let's kick them out. Here you go. I think let's see, there you go. - [Mikey] Is your love for accordion doors still holding firm? - How do I not love these? - [Mikey] I know ever since we started touring homes about two years ago, accordion doors, that was one of your first big details. - I love these things. Boom, now we got that California indoor outdoor living. Your living room opens up to this incredible balcony space you get a little bit of a seating area here. Enjoy these views and outdoor dining area here. Outdoor staircase, going down to the lower level which we're going to tour in a bit, but let's focus on these views for a second. It's a beautiful day again, here in Corona Del Mar and I mean, we have everything here. People are enjoying the canal. Everybody's on their boats. Your scenery is amazing.
11:15
Palm trees to Balboa Island, to Catalina, ocean views. You literally get everything and that's what makes this place so special. With that, that wraps our tour for the main floor. Now let's go downstairs, check out all the rooms and the incredible pool area. (gentle music) Let's check out the lower level. We have the staircase design here with LED lighting underneath. All glass, and right next to the staircase we have the wine cellar here, temperature controlled. Let's take a look at how they kind of designed this shelf design here which is really cool out of glass. And in case you need some safety, there you go. You need to have a thumbprint or passcode to get in. - Very cool. - Very cool. Alright, now we have a bit of a landing area here and going this way, we have the gym. Same hardwood floors are also here. Two mirrors, back patio door opening up to the courtyard off of the entry and going in we have a full shower in here. Beautiful fabricated sink, walk-in shower.
12:28
That toilet set up, complimenting your gym area. Now we've got more in the gym. Steam sauna, a bit of a massage area, just like the first home that we toured. They have this smart courtyard area which allows them to place all these windows that faces the courtyard and lets natural light into the property. Now let's go check out that courtyard. Sliding glass doors open up, nice tiled floors. Right above us is the bridge that takes us from the street level to the property. And those are the skylights that I mentioned earlier. We get a stone veneer wall here, fire pit to kind of cozy up the space and just like the other property, they utilized this space by tucking in all the utilities here, air conditioning, pool equipment, all that good stuff. On the other side, this patio continues and those are the windows from the massage room. Feature wall here. Good use of outdoor space, smartly designed
13:32
to make sure the house functions really well. We're back inside of the home and these double doors open up to the screening room. We have the seating area on this side. Projector screen is nicely LED lit as well as the cove lighting and Mikey can we pan up to the recess lights right here? So that's the bulkhead actually for the AC diffusers but they dressed it up really nicely and placed the recessed lights and they carried out that detail throughout the whole screening room. Also last part of this screening area. We also have the sliders opening up to the courtyard that we just toured in case you want to have that indoor outdoor flow. Or you want to have people over here. And the last cool detail you know, furniture in this house comes with the price and you get cool stuff like this. - [Mikey] Wow that's a bar. - That is a bar. - [Mikey] That's really cool. - I want one of these. - [Mikey] Yeah I really have no use for it, but I want one either way. - Absolutely. I want to buy this house just so I can have this furniture. Let's continue our tour. Now we're back at the landing right here.
14:37
We have the, actually the elevator, nevermind I thought that was the powder room. That's the elevator and going in you've got a laundry room right here. Pretty straightforward. Some cabinetry, stacked washer and dryer, and going this way, we have one of the guest suites here. Sliding glass door opening up to the side of the property where you can walk all the way to the pool area. Pre-wired for everything, your TV, all that. Of course we have the recess lights, built in speakers also. Closets are left open for the end-user to deck it out however they like and we have the bathroom right here. Stone floors all the way carried into the walk-in shower, black hardware, casement window for some ventilation, beautiful vanity set up, these gorgeous marble countertops, has a fabricated sink as well. Now, right next door on the same hallway we have another bedroom suite. We have the walk-in closet here. Obviously this one is a little bit more spacious and going in, let's tour the bathroom first.
15:40
Same finishes but this one gets a double vanity. Beautifully fabricated countertops, again. Walnut cabinetry, some industrial lighting and a massive walk-in shower where you can see actually your bedroom which is a nice little detail right there. I don't know Mikey if you caught this one. I just realized it. - [Mikey] I didn't. I bet that window doesn't fog like upstairs though. - It's not, it's not for sure. And you get a rain head too. All right, let's go check out the junior primary bedroom suite. It's almost as spacious as the bedroom upstairs we have the bed situated on this side. Shades are down, but you guys get the point. It gets incredible views. Recessed lights, built-in speakers. We have the TV set up on this side and an exterior door that opens up to the patio space. Now let's go back to the hallway and tour the bedrooms on the other side of the first floor. Let's start with this one on the left. This is where we have the first bedroom on this side. Again, this one is not staged but this is one of the bedrooms. Has an egress access. That's where it gets a little bit of natural light.
16:47
Closet on this side and a bathroom. Pretty much the same finishes. This one gets a little bit bigger of a vanity. Gorgeous countertops, another great bathroom. Now other side. I think this is the last bedroom. Actually, we might have another one. So bathroom is right here. Same finishes, same stone, beautiful corner glass, walk-in shower, floating vanity. Closet is right here. This wall also has a really unique curvature on this side, and bed is positioned right here. We have the automatic shades down right now but it's just like the bedrooms upstairs. Have the curvature wall, gets incredible views but the door right here opens up to the patio space. Great size room. Now let's go back to the main hallway. Let's talk about the bar design. These are Dekton countertops. They're very durable and kind of carries out that industrial look that we saw at the front facade of the home. Almost brings that rust element to it as well
17:52
and they fabricated the sink out of the same material. Mikey, let's get a close up right here. We have the dishwasher. We get a small fridge here and let's not forget our favorite. - [Mikey] Ice machine. - There you go. Gotta to have it. Of course back is nicely paneled in with this built-in design LED lighting, it looks exquisite, very sleek. I just realized another detail. Can we pan up to the ceiling? We also have these like spotlights. - [Mikey] Oh, these are cool. - Yeah, nice little detail. And of course-- - [Mikey] I always like these because you can actually direct the light. You know, if you want one side of the room to be more lit, the other you can change the mood however you want. - I agree, I agree. It adds up to the cove lighting detail as well and right behind you Mikey, we have even more paneled in built-ins, floating shelves. It just looks gorgeous. You know, it gives a lot of warmth to the space with the hardwood floors. Now seating area. You get an additional fireplace here, TV. I guess overall this is just a great entertainment space. From the courtyard, all this open space.
18:56
And again, my favorite, these accordion doors that opens up to the outdoor patio. Let's check it out. I love these. There you go. Actually, let me release the door first. We got to go this one out. There you go. It takes a little bit of time but I promise you guys it's worth it. - [Mikey] You like these more or you like pocket doors more? - Pocket ones are a little bit easier but I feel like this has little bit more character. Also Mikey, even the inside of the doors are clad with wood paneling. I mean, just so it matches the overall architecture of the home. Little details like that, I love it. Now we're on the patio space. We have nice tiled floors here. Second floor balcony, main floor balcony kind of overextends a little bit makes this area a little bit more covered. We have some space heaters here, recessed lights and your incredible pool. We have the mosaic design pretty much all around it. It's an infinity edge pool looking towards incredible views. And the pool's outline kind of carries out the oval design of the house just like the second floor
20:02
or some of these balconies. Overall, what an incredible view. Before we focus on that, I wanna cover this side we have the outdoor barbecue area. Dekton countertops are also here. You got ice maker, fridge, your outdoor grill, everything you need. And on the other side, like I mentioned earlier we have the junior primary bedroom opening up more patio space, little bit of a lounge area here but I mean this property, the views, this outdoor space, your infinity edge pool, all these bedrooms, or at least the front facing bedrooms are all focused towards this incredible view. It doesn't get much better than this. I mean, I want to walk all the way to the edge of the property line and get a closer look at these views. It's just amazing. You know, Corona Del Mar, Newport Beach, Orange County in general is very special and with this house, you get the full experience. Now that's it for the tour, but we're going to spend a few more hours so we can see this house at dusk. (gentle upbeat music) Alright, everyone, that's it for the tour.
21:22
Not only we saw this house during the day, we also got a chance to see it at night and it looks incredible. Finishes, details, everything just comes together even more at night. I want to congratulate the developers for doing a phenomenal job on this house and the house right next door that we toured a few weeks ago. Both of them are very unique and special in their own ways. That one was a little bit more modern and sleek. This one is a little bit more warmer and inviting. Overall, both of them are incredible homes. For that, I want to thank the developer Kaz Luxury Homes for allowing us to tour their new listing. I want to thank the listing agents, Vanessa and Bryan, again for allowing us to tour this amazing home and share it with all of you. If you enjoyed this video, make sure to give us a like.
