[Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] you everyone so today what I'm gonna do is show you how to use voice typing in Google Docs and also how you can convert that over to Libre Office very very easy so the first thing you're gonna have to do is use Google Chrome and you can do this on a Mac Linux Windows doesn't

matter what it is because you're basically just using Google Chrome browser to do everything and you're gonna open up your Chrome browser log into your account so that you're logged in to your Google account and then you should see nine little dots over here in the right-hand corner beside your account info and if you click on that you can open up a Google Docs document so Google Docs is what we're gonna open we're gonna start off here with a blank

document and I'll give a few hard returns here so the next thing we're gonna need to do to start voice typing is to go to the tools and tools and then on down to voice typing and you'll see a little box pop up here which is click to speak and mine is set for default for English us but you can pick other languages so if you want to speak in Spanish or Italian or some other

language you can do that as well I'm gonna stick with us English because that's the only language that I speak so now what I'm gonna do is dictate my letter first of all what I should do it really is save it into a document file a file name other than untitled document so let's just call this test dot 0:08 and enter and there's my document name is test dot zero zero eight so now I'm gonna start dictating my letter click on

also download a copy into Microsoft Word format open document format Microsoft most people will use Microsoft Word document format I use open document format because I use Libre Office which is a free and open source product that I feel is better than Microsoft but anyway I'll save it and it gets downloaded to a file test dot ODT P then I can open that
