hello I'm Brian Fitzgerald the golf doctor and today I have been able to get my hands on the brand-new Mizuno jpx 900 driver if you'd like to take a sneak peek stay tuned so here in my hands I have hot off the presses the latest Mizuno jpx 900 driver I just picked it up for the

first time a few minutes ago and when I look down on it it looks quite nice I really like the blue color it's the Mizuno blue it's actually a very appealing driver now interestingly they've gone for the Fuji Kuro speeder evolution to shaft and it's it's a counterbalance shaft and they did all sorts of testing with lots of different shafts and this is the shaft that predominantly suits this head more than others so Mizuno are exhaustive in their testing process if we go in and have a

look at the head a little bit it certainly looks a little bit different so you can see the nice blue color there it's got good graphics now the loft options go from seven-and-a-half all the way through to 11 and a half so it's giving us plenty of options as far as loft goes and then down the bottom here we've got some different weight ports so now we have the higher and lower center

of gravity we can make put the one of these weights more toward the toe or more in the heel to create to change the spin variation and we've also got the slider technology in here so we can set that differently as well to produce a little bit more open clubface and a little bit more closed clubface so the fact that we can change the loft of the golf club upwards when we do that it tends to close the face so now with these other weight ports we can actually

neutralize them for the various settings so that's a very exciting transition from what Mizuno have done they've had a little bit of a slider before they went with the EZ we've just got the wait ports now they're going both and I think that's really exciting let's have a look and see how it sounds it's as I said it looks good looks very appealing to the eye this one's just the regular shaft that's it's what I got given to me so we'll see

how it sounds actually drill that one straight down the middle and it actually sounds quite good some of the early ones are a little bit on the 10-year side but this is a great Drive I actually can't wait to get this one in my bag so it's released this week worldwide so stay tuned and I'll do a little bit more on some of the options that we've got as we go so if you can get you get your hands on one of these at a demo day and I'm
