Hello. I'm Brian Fitzgerald The Golf Doctor. And today I have been able to get my hands on the brand new Mizuno JPX 900 driver. If you would like to take a sneak peak. Stay tuned. [MUSIC] So here in my hands. Hot off the presses. The latest Mizuno JPX 900 driver. I just picked it up for the first time a few minutes ago. And when I look down on it. It looks quite nice. I really like the blue colour. Mizuno Blue. It is actually a very appealing driver. Now interestingly they have gone for the Fujikura Speeder Evolution 2 shaft. It's a counter balanced shaft. And they did all sorts of testing with lots of different shafts and this is the shaft that predominantly suits this head more than others. So Mizuno are exhaustive in their testing process.

If we go in and have a look at the head a little bit. It certainly looks a little bit different. So you can see the nice blue colour there. It's got good graphics. Now the loft options go from 7.5 all the way through to 11.5. So that's giving us plenty of options as far as loft goes. And then down the bottom here we have got some different weight ports. So now we the high and lower centre of gravity. We can make eh put one of these weights more toward the toe or more in the heel to change the spin variation. And we have also got the slider technology in here. So you can set that differently as well to produce a little bit more open club face and a little bit more closed club face. So the fact that we can change the loft of the golf club upwards.

When we do that it tends to close the face. So now with these other weight ports we can actually neutralise them with the various settings. so that's a very exciting um transition from what Mizuno have done. They have had a little bit of a slider before. They went with the EZ which just had the weight ports. Now they are going both. And I think that is really exciting. Ah let's have a look and see how it sounds. So as I said it looks good. It looks very appealing to the eye. This one's just the regular shaft. That's what I got given to me. So we will see how it sounds. [HIT] I actually drilled that one straight down the middle. And it actually sounds quite good. Some of the earlier ones were a little bit on the tinnier side. But this is a great driver. I actually can't wait to get this one in the bag. So ah it's released this week. World wide.
