Hello! In the next few clips, I am going to show you how you can download Youtube close caption file for your own personal use. Let's start by searching songs by Anne Murray. All videos under 'Anne Murray' are listed. However, not all of them contain subtitle captions (or lyrics). To filter those videos with subtitle captions, you need to select the 'Type' drop-down box. Under the Type, select 'Closed Captions' Now the search lists only show videos with closed captions. The song lyrics are displayed as closed captions You can download the closed caption file if you are using Firefox by installing an add-on from this site: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/50003 If you are using IE, you can try this utility, which allows you to download both the video and closed caption files. With both the video (flv) and closed caption files (srt), you can now view the video, with closed captions, using a VLC player. This ends my short introduction to Youtube closed caption video.
