hey YouTube what's going on winter is coming here and working together another beer review today today we are looking at Muskoka breweries craft lager now Muskoka brewery they're up in bracebridge Ontario it's not that far from you it's about 40 minutes north of me so I consider it one of our local breweries of the area they're a brewery that I do there's you quite enjoy I've had most of their offerings of products aside from the logger they make a cream ale which is quite nice they up until recently they did make a darkhel which is one of my favorite if not the top

dark ale you get in the province at the price but it since me discontinued they make three IPAs they have a kind of a sessionable low abv IPA somos detour that's one of the more recent offerings the regular IPAs put Matt Tom and they've a double or Imperial called twice as bad Tom and I quite enjoy that aside from those they move for seasonals that they kind of rotate through throughout the year and the one that I enjoy most is a the one that's in the winter it's i would actually now it's a winter beard double chocolate cranberry

stone it's awesome i had a few of them over the christmas break and the ones that i had though they were eight i think they're from 2013 or 12 so they were older excuse me bottles the only way to get a fresh is actually go to the brewery self bracebridge so i'm hoping to get up there's at some point this winter and check that one out fresh so back to the logger um it's a craft lager I say it's an all malt longer made with North American hops just standard 473
01:33
milliliter Canadian tallboy and it's four point eight percent so it's a bit lighter than I guess your standard modhri so let's open it up and see what we have here poor all right no surprises here it looks like a logger most people and I think a beer this is pretty much what they look like pale golden medium carbonation again I'd say less than a finger head seems to be dissipating
02:14
quite quickly no releasing looks like a beer right let's give it a smell alright nothing not a whole lot popping out smells like beer maybe a faint grassy hot presence not a whole lot going on so
02:41
let's give it a taste Cheers okay so it looks like your standard you know your big guy lager but this one actually has a bit of flavor tastes much better I'd say it's it has a heavier mouthfeel then say moose head or Canadian or blue bit more body than those bit of the malts in the background it takes a bit of the the hops arnold's st now this is one of the reasons why I kind of did like moose
03:17
head over the other big guys that had the zesty quality to it which to me may send out I'm kind of getting something similar off that one here again for four point eight percent it's less than your standard five percent lager but again more body more flavor much more impressive beer very Chris sessionable this is probably this is a great cottage like a summer beer you know it's midwinter right now probably not the best time you'd be drinking these but I still do quite enjoy these what do you
03:49
have to pair with food on a hot summer's day I could just sit back and have quite a few of these you quite enjoyable probably going to pick quite a few VTS up this summer what are we going to give this you'd see I'm going to give muskoka scraft logger a 7 out of 10 enjoy the beer kind of before probably pick if you are up the summer your guys are going to be seeing a few more views coming for me from this brewery as I do quite enjoy
