hey guys Chris sign OGG here founder of the seal training system and in this video I'm gonna teach you how to use an advanced focus string let's go ahead and get started [Music] all right so first off what is an advanced focused ring and what's the difference between this and the front sight focused rings that I also sell well I took a look at the front sight focused ring and I I was thinking how can I make this even better how can I
00:37
make it so you can learn faster and I came across these beads that are square in black and they also have little white marks on them like I teach you to put on your front sight post so it's ultra realistic and you're just going to be able to train a lot faster and a lot easier and that's why I called it advanced how do you use it well you use it the same way you use the front sight focus string and that you're going to attach this to any object and you're
01:08
going to start off initially by putting this to your nose and you practice teaching your eyes to focus on the same spot and you want to get to a spot eventually where the bead that you're focusing on is going to be out about the same distance as your front sight post but you also want to work the other distances while you're practicing this you don't just want to focus on one place because you're teaching your eyes and you need to work in progression with that but the great thing again about
01:41
this is it's a flat surface so you're gonna be able to really dial in the detail of when you're focusing on that flat surface and it's gonna translate a lot easier to focusing on your front sight post some other drills that you can do with this that make it more interesting is you can put these up in either this configuration or like this and you can write down numbers and have somebody call those numbers out for you and you can practice shifting your

awareness and your focus between the beads you want this to be just like you would be looking at your front sight post it's going to be almost flat you're just looking over the top of it if they are sliding and you want to shoot down mountains and practice shooting like that then you can put a little drop of glue on those and just spread them out at different distances in practice like that you can also do it under your dominant eye normally you practice with it under your nose but move it over to your dominant eye so I'm right eye dominant so I could
02:42
practice doing it off that eye one thing to keep in mind is that some people are not fully right I or left eye dominance is somewhere in between so say your right eye dominant and you don't have a problem focusing on your front sight like that with both eyes open so your dominant spot is going to be somewhere in between your nose in that eye so you may need to shift it over just a little to find that dominant spot that is it when it comes to the advanced front

sight focused ring go ahead and try one out and until next time keep paving your path to perfection you
